Special Agent Anita Trujillo/ DHS/ICE
In 1985, I began my
career with the government working for the Department of Defense, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico,
as I continued my education at New Mexico State University
(NMSU) in Las Cruces, New
Mexico. I
worked full-time and attended College full-time until I graduated
from NMSU in 1990 where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration,
while raising three children. In 1992, I was hired by U.S. Customs Service
as a Customs Inspector in San
Luis, Arizona. In Late 1996, I began my career as a Special
Agent in El Paso, Texas. In 2002 I
transferred to Houston, Texas, where I am presently a Senior Special
Agent for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
I have been married
for 25 years to Leonard Trujillo and we have three children;
Amber Dawn, 24; Justin Leonard, 22; and Tamyra Bryanne, 20. I
have one beautiful granddaughter, RaeLynn, 15 months. I
enjoy running long distance and I am training for the Houston marathon
on January 16, 2005.
